For World Environment Day (5th June, 2010), there was again  an event at Avebury in the UK (see below) as well as events on and around that day elsewhere in Europe, North America and Indonesia.

Deep Time

Meeting at St. Margarets Loch. Then a meditative walk along the Queens Drive to Dunsapie Loch and taking time for the ascent to Arthur's Seat. "Deep Time" is taken from Edinburgh's "Father of Geology", James Hutton 1726-1797.
