Avebury Stone Circle (see a map)

We  are developing a tradition of gathering at Avebury, to mark World Environment  Day and to acknowledge the site as a place of beauty, art and culture. Once again, this year, at Avebury people will offer movement pieces among  the stones, read poetry, share stories and play music alone and in groups.

As in previous years, Suprapto Suryodarmo, Javanese  movement artist, plans to join us at Avebury.

We will add details of planned contributions below as we hear about them:

  • InEquilibrium - An improvised dance performance exploring balance and imbalance in ourselves and our environment.  Natasha Colbert, Chantal Lecluze and CĂ©line Butte.
  • Coming and Going  - Simon Slidders, Keith Miller, Kristina Bourdillon, Sean Williams, Una Nicholson, Helen Williams (The Avebury Group)
  • One to Three - Simon Slidders, Keith Miller, Kristina Bourdillon
  • Dialogue  - Kristina Bourdillon
  • "So far un-named" - Sean Williams, Una Nicholson and Olly
